Best place to buy a new mattress in Charlotte?

It's about time to get a new one. I currently have a serta memory foam that I bought back in 05. Got that bad 50% off (2k sticker price). Went to mattress firm and got a bit of sticker shock, any recommendations on where to go or what type of mattress you recommend?

I stopped at a Mattress Firm in Charlotte and got a bit of a sticker shock also. Sales girl told me to check out The Mattress Firm in Concord (Afton Village) because it is their "Outlet Store". It's where they sell the discontinued models and such at about half retail. That's where I winded up getting one,

Mattresses are expensive and you get what you pay for..we spent $1000 on our King sized one...can't remember the brand but it's really comfy and we got it at Rooms to Go Outlet

might add that it's a King that rises at head and footer

I want a tempurpedic, or a tindallpedic. For a King, thats about 2500. I'm saving for that, and I can't wait.
