Senior Bowl wants

Guys I hadn't considered before:

OL- Long has tremendous upside and pedigree. I don't know where he's rated but Id tabs him anywhere in day 3, if not round 3.

DE- Ansah was a menace on every snap showing playmaking ability against the run and as a pass rusher.

S- Poyer was championed by Charles Davis early on and it wasn't hard to see why. He had a near int in the end zone and an impressive int on a tip later. Playmaker.

I'd love all three of these guys, 2/3 are day one ST contributors.

DE is a possibility late in the draft. IF its BPA and they are better, or have higher upside than our bottom two. (Kieser/Applewhite). And extra passrushers NEVER hurt.

Hardy will be a free agent in 2014. If there's some value at DE in the 2nd, knowing Gettmeman he could very take one there. Especially if Ansah falls to no.44.

Don't think he'd make it past ATL. They are in dire need of a passrusher. While I think DE is a possibility, I don't see it before 4th-5th.

-Patton, Wheaton, & Goodwin all looked like potential contributors at WR. I was really surprised with Wheaton.

-Definitely Brandon Williams at DT. He was doing work.

-Datone Jones looks pretty damn good. We shouldn't get him, but if we had a DE need in the 1st, I'd be all over that

-Lane Johnson looked better than I expected. I noticed people had been downing him here but he looked like a solid prospect for us if Gross is gone and Warmack, Joekel, and Fisher are not available.

-Mychal Rivera at TE/FB...he could be a James Casey/Delanie Walker type

-Jordan Poyer at CB. He could be a great 2nd round pick

BPA at 14 from the following groups pass rusher, touchdown catching playmakers or big guy qb protectors. That leaves 5 or so prospects based on what happens at the top of the draft.

A LB last year when we had 2 guys coming back from big injuries made a lot of sense in this case nothing is wrong with CJ or Hardy.

Hardy upcoming 14' fa, might be hard to resign him, plus Hardy only got one good year so far. Just playing the DA here.

At 14 I want BPA between WR,DB, OL, and DT.

Panthers cant let Hardy go whatsoever as long as he has an impact like he did this year. His play doesnt necessarily have to be based off how many sacks he gets.
