Really want to know how cutting works. I have one particular player that I want/need to cut.

munch came up with a good idea.you can cut a guy and only take a % of his cap hit based on the years left on the contract.the more years left on the contract, the less % taken off of the cap hit.means you dont really free much money with a big contract.

Sounds good.

2 questions.

1) Is there a limit to how many players can be cut?

2) Is there a specific thread to announce it or do you put it with the depth chart?

I really think teams like the Skins are at a disadvantage in this mock.

There is no way they let some of these guys walk to FA. They would do exactly what teams do and restructure/cut other players in order to resign some of these guys. But here, I am unable to do that and I don't have any cap.

I feel ya.

The Giants are losing their starting left tackle, starting left guard, starting free satety, starting tight end and Osi Uminyiera.

Meanwhile a team like Cleveland loses a couple kickers, some scrubs and has $50 in cap room

Hence the reason I favored a straight draft.

Don't look at your roster when all is said and done, just evaluate your draft picks.

It is what it is.

would you rather have it a unlimited # of releases? and just use rotoworlds free agent list?
