and no, I don't hate Steve Smith....I think he is the GOAT in Panther history. But if he were to take a dump on a random person's front door step.....I wouldn't create up some scenario where I then tried to pin it on the homeowner for accidently building his house in a location where Steve Smith may want to poo. Which would happen.

heh you're new around these parts. CRA has an obvious and well-documented hatred toward Smitty. Good ideas and rational opinions on most other subjects, but when it comes to Smitty he's about as critical as they come.

CRA says, Steve Smith is the GOAT (Panther history). A bad ass WR even at his current age (arguably best in the game in his prime).....but he has issues controlling his emotions which consistantly have displayed themselves throughout career.

I just don't agree with people trying to essentially lie about his flaws as a Panther. He doesn't need to be a great leader. He can be a hot head with his own rules. I got no issue with that. I just find it funny that regardless of what he does.....people will find a way to defend it as justfited, so and so had it coming to him, well it's not THAT big of a deal, etc, etc.

I realize you recognize Smitty's football skills, but for whatever reason you've always been overly critical of everything else. I dunno if he dissed you at a game, or someone you know or what. What you do is far from "pointing it out" or "not homerishly slurping everything he says/does."

Has Smitty made mistakes? Yes. Was he wrong to punch those guys? Yes. Does he have an ego? Yes. Does he have character flaws? Yes. Is he a diva? No. Here's why: He's never been selfish. When he's complained about not getting the ball, it's not because he just wants to get his. It's because he legitimately believes the best chance the team has to win is getting him the ball. And for the most part, he's always been right. His tantrums haven't been of a selfish nature, it's always been about the team. And that's what separates him from divas, and why his tantrums are tolerable.

I don't think he's the perfect human being with no negative qualities whatsoever, but he's certainly not this hybrid of TO, Mike Tyson and a 13 year old girl getting her first period on crack that you tend to portray him as.

I don't think him punching his teammates was justified, nor do I think it was no big deal. But his flaws are nowhere near the magnitude you claim.
