Giants Defensive Assistant Al Holcomb (today, per Joe Person)

Bob Babich likely could have been but the Jags snapped him up as DC shortly after the Bears let him go.

Hoping the team adds Steve Spagnuolo to that list.

Of the position hirings done so farm this seems to be the one they're talking the most time with. Other than the OC job, the rest of the positions have been filled in relatively simple fashion.

Makes me think (hopefully) they really want to make sure they get this one right.

Worth noting the Saints also fired Ken Flajole. He was the LB Coach here the last few years under Fox. Left to become Spagnuolo's DC when Spags took the head coaching job in Saint Louis. He was thought of as a smart coach and a good teacher.

Maybe, but how do you sell your fanbase on hiring the guy who ran the worst defense in NFL history for that same job with your team?
