Matthias' Mock

I like him and think he's got a good career ahead of him, but I'm not sure that he's an NFL starter. He's often mentioned as being a good tackler with good instincts but those things didn't stand out to me this year as much as they did in the past. But the guy is seemingly always involved in the play. He's a respected leader - although his "too soft" moment this year led to some questions - and if I recall correctly, was a pretty good special teamer his freshman and sophomore year.

In short, I like Rambo better although I believe Williams has the higher stock at the moment. I was a huge Boykin fan last year and badly wanted to Panthers to take him. My friend that's an Eagles fan is really happy with that pick right now.

okay. because i thought he was one of the best ss coming out this year.

i heard rambo got in some serious trouble and almost got kicked off the team???? do you know what happen?....i guess thats why his stock fail........

Failed drug test. He claimed that he woke up and found some brownies on a table that his roommate had left there or something, and that he ate one...not knowing they were pot brownies. Let's be honest, he probably knew. Georgia's offseasons are a whirlwind of player fug ups every year.

There's going to be enough negative feedback on this one, I'll leave it alone.

I appreciate people sharing ideas, but I am not a fan of any pick.

I would take Jones if he falls to the second round, and that is possible.

There is one safety I would take in this draft, and it ain'tt rambo.

Long got it handed to him at the SR bowl when I watched. Short arms.

If this were our draft, I would chain myself to a tree at BofA stadium with a sign that says HUNGER STRIKE UNTIL GETTLEMEN IS FIRED.

But that's just me.

He literally said we shouldn't take DTs because they're big

He actually said that

They're a little flabby. After all the problems we had with Kris Jenkins concerning his weight, we shouldn't want to repeat that with our next star DT. I will have to see what kind of shape they are in at the combine before I officially go that way in the first.

For those of you who don't like Rambo, why? Dude's a first round talent. Yet some of you are saying 3rd-5th rounder. Really? Other than Jarvis Jones and John Jenkins (J-cubed), Rambo was Georgia's best defender. We all know if he entered the draft last year, he would have been a first rounder for sure. So how did he drop to 3rd-5th, as some of you project?

Also, some of you got on me about the trade only picking up a third. I really didn't think that much concerning the trade (I only wanted a pick that put me in position to draft Kyle Long). Yet I've done trade backs that netted me a second rounder. I was called a fool as a result, saying teams will just trade with someone else who's asking price wasn't so steep. Nonetheless, I actually agree a trade back of this calibur should give us a second rounder in the least, really if you ask me, more than that. (Again, I would be called a fool for thinking so)

Edit: Those who said a trade back of this calibur should net a second rounder or higher, inspired me to do another mock!
