Watched practice yesterday here's what I saw:

Eric Fiser-dominated, him and okafor had really good matchups and was the only person who gave him a serious challenge

Poyer-all over receivers in the 1 on 1s

Wheaton-really quick and ran solid routes

Short-really quick and a good pass rusher, and held his ground in the run game when they went to team drills

Long- agree with one of the above posters that he looked much more at home when he was playing guard

Day 2 of Practice started a little while ago. Eric Fisher is having another great day. I doubt he will be available to us after this week.

Only been beaten once by datone jones, jones looks like a really intriguing player.

Kawann Short is dominating. In 11 on 11, he is getting great pressure on both run and pass plays. Does a great job using his hands. He projects more of a UT but I think he could be a target in the 2nd.

Short looks alot better in the run game then I thought he would, and his pass rush is great as expected. Like him alot better now that I've seen more in the run game.

Warford looks like a bear, just eats up his pass rusher

Lane Johnson OT from Oklahoma is gonna rise up draft boards soon, he looks good.

This is who im hoping for if we cant get Fisher.

Johnson in the 1st and Warford in the 2nd. Id poo bricks!

Johnson is gonna shoot up the boards after the senor bowl and combine. Prob would have to take in at 14 if you wanted him.

dude abused alford 3 times today badly lol. he beatem deep, faked him out on a route and got off his jam at the line. patton to me is the most complete wr in the draft. i lovve that dude. :thumbsu: :goodjob:

terrance williams is also great but he had a off day. also good coverage by sanders.....twill depends on nothing but speed like d, jackson...almost a one trick pony...but if he has a good deep ball qb hes a beast because he's just too fast for db...... :roadrage:

im surprised about tarvares king today.. he is a very good route runner with nice hands..... :phew:

also larry warford makes it look easy...john jenkins is also nice :cigar:

I want to see Warford vs Jenkins and Warford vs Kawann Short.. great NT and a great UT prospect. I think Warford could handle both.

^^me too, dude is laid back and comfortble.......i dont believe hes that far off from warmack and i dont believe hes gonna last until the second round......

i should mention though that i read jenkins beat chance warmack for a sack in that championship game.. so it would be interesting......

UT is not a major need. We need alot of help / upgrading on the OL and WR positions
