Will Gettleman and Rivera be on the same with the draft and FA market?

With Rivera needing to win now and Gettleman having a longer window of opportunity how will this impact our draft and free agent contracts?

Certain positions take longer to develop but Rivera needs to have an impact player in the draft now .

I am curious how this will effect who we draft,release,restructure, and pick up via FA marlet.

One could argue that Gettleman should clean house and build for the future but doing so could throw Rivera under the bus,

2012, RB david wilson in the 1st and WR rueben randle in the 2nd

2011, wr jerrell jernigan in the 3rrd

2009, wr hakeem nicks in the1st, OL will beaty in the 2nd, also WR ramses barden in 3rd, TE travis beckum in the 4th

2008 wr mario manningham in the 3rd

2007 wr steve smith in the 2nd, TE kevin boss 5th round, rb ahmad bradshaw 7th

2006 wr sinorice moss in the 2nd

that's the top of their drafts sine taking eli in 2004.. most drafted positions were WR's and DB's.

Gettleman talked about us having a franchise QB, I think he's in a win now frame of mind as well - he realizes that Cam is coming into his prime.

I think Gettlemen believes he can win here now. They may have differences of opinion in terms of players, but not in terms of winning now and building towards the future. Quite honestly this organization needs a win now year.
