The Tebow Project

I still believe The Golden Calf of Bristol can be something in this league. Maybe not a Starting QB, but a decent enough no.2 that can come and win you games here and there. He's someone that I would not hold my breath trying to win a game if Cam ever to go down a game or two. He's a winner and has always find ways to. Bad or Ugly, he'll win.

I wish the kid the best of luck. I hate the TEBOWING, but as a humble man I like the kid and hope he can find a place in this league.

If he would switch to FB he could wind up in the HoF.

His size & athleticism would make him an OK blocker with the potential to be great.

He'd be deadly in short yardage situations, especially if there were a good HB with him.

Inside the red zone he becomes a huge threat.

& inside the 5... a team with a good HB that can catch, a QB that can run, a big TE, & a big WR, with his ability to do that jump pass... It would be the closest thing to truly unstoppable in the history of the NFL.

If anything Timmy needs to try to convert to a pass catching TE if he can develop decent hands. Tim has shown that he has the ability to take a hard hit every now and then but thats completely different from asking him to crash into LBs and DTs every down. Taking a hit and having the will and mindset to want to blow up a guy are two totally different things.

i see matthias's understanding of roster-building, management, and talent evaluation is on par with his understanding of scientific methodologies

There's no question I still have a lot to learn concerning science, but what I've said concerning it's limits is verified truth. The things I brought up about it, rocket scientists would agree with me.

I for one am shocked a young earth creationist would have an irrational attachment to The Golden Calf of Bristol's career.

The league will always be enamoured with over acheivers like The Golden Calf of Bristol and Flutie for example, but at the end of the day, all the drive in the world when not eventually coupled with a growing ability, will lead to the booth.

The Golden Calf of Bristol brings a new style to the game. Yeah, he can definitely be more accurate, but I kind of like the thought of this "backyard" football system. If he did improve on his accuracy he would be the perfect QB for Chip Kelly. For these two guys to come together, and turn the NFL on it's head, is an exciting thought to me. It's unconventional, kind of like martial art styles such as the drunken style or capoeira. I want to see if The Golden Calf of Bristol succeeds in this style.
