It's what happens when you make minimal moves to improve. I don't think we even improved. Jordan and Suter were about equal. Same as Corvo and Spacek. We have 3-4 guys starting tonight that should be in the AHL.

We shouldn't have had to incorporate Sutter in that deal but Rutherford likes to overpay. Two first rounders and Doumilin should have done the trick.

I can't pretend to be knowledgeable about what each guy brings to the table because I haven't kept up with our team like I do the Cats and Panthers. Nor am I as familiar with the intricacies of hockey as I am with the other sports, but I know the names and am making an effort to familiarize myself with the nuances now.

That being said... I know who Semin is. I know Jordan Stall. So, I assumed we assembled ourselves some nice combinations offensively. Top of the league type potential.

Watching this... I am in agreement with you. Very sloppy and unimpressive. I just watched some of the Pens/Flyers and Kings/Hawks earlier today, and I didn't see any of this sh*tty play.
