Shula promoted to OC

If you don't think JR has a say in the type of toilet paper they use in the stadium ....you'd be wrong. This guy is involved in everything.

Ron Rivera says Jerry Richardson gave him no directives in terms of staff changes, philosophy, etc, when he decided to retain him.

Not really happy with it but kinda feel better for Hue. He would have been on a "perform or your gone" year anyway. So if Rivera and his piece of poo staff dont get it done next year he wont have to be a part of that house cleaning. We might be able to get him next year on the new coaching staff, who knows.

I'm just as upset about Rodgers being promoted as I am Shula. Bobby April was a slam dunk hire who would instantly help our special teams. Continuity isn't nearly as big in that area, because there is a lot of turnover on the bottom half of the roster, which is usually where special teams players are pulled from.

The good news is that we'll get a fresh staff next year after Rivera gets himself and this crew fired.

Once again failing to hire a former head coach as the OC is a huge mistake. He desperately needed someone with that experience on his staff, and he STILL didn't do it, even when he had the clear opportunity.

I'm heartbroken by both of these moves, and have completely lost what little faith I had left in Ron Rivera. 7-9, here we come...again.

Just try to stay excited for that meaningless 4-2 run at the end of the season.
