This whole deal kind of pisses me off. I don't know whether Te'o was in on it or not, but if he wasn't, that sucks for him. I'd feel bad for him, but quite honestly, in this day and age of the internet, there is no reason people should be getting "Catfished." Only thing I can figure is ESPN may feel the need to defend him on some level since they reportedly had the story for ten days and sat on it. If that's the motivation, they're really defending themselves.
