Chip Kelly to eagles.

i wouldn't be surprised if he would rather have the panthers than the other teams he was looking at because cam fits really well what he wants to do. he's got less to work with in philly or cleveland than here.

i think there are more than jon gruden who have their eyes on this franchise if rivera can't keep his job. gettleman being the personnel guy he is might even pursuade some potential HCs who wanted total control of the team to back off that a little bit.

best thing for the panthers, tho, is for rivera to do well here. although i lack faith in his ability to close games, i'm hoping that he gets his crap together and we turn into the perrenial winner that we should be.

Mortensen's on radio saying the Eagles job was the most attractive to him.

Also stated that Kelly actually had agreed to be the Bucs head coach last year before suddenly backing out. This year it was the same dance, but rather than say yes and back out he just waited to say yes.

Apparently the reports about him being really indecisive on this were true.

In fairness, did he ever actually confirm he was staying at Oregon or did people just assume it?

Two people with knowledge of the decision confirmed Sunday night that Kelly is passing up a chance to coach in the NFL to remain with the Ducks. One person spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because Oregon and Kelly haven't formally announced the decision, while the other person wasn't authorized to reveal Kelly's plans. The decision was first reported by ESPN.

The news is barely an hour old if he has heard about it I doubt he will doubt everything say no. Plus if Philly twitted then it's likely true.

lmao! Although I much prefer the term "twit" for messages sent through Twitter, the correct term is "tweet".

But "twitted" just made me laugh and laugh.

I have the Twitter text contact named "OMG a twit!" on my not-so-smart phone.

Thank you, made my day. :goodjob:

Ok, well thanks for correcting. I guess there is a social media directory that called a message a tweet. So you must really be into the twitting thing to think of it in a grammatical way. So to all of the English teachers out there, put twitter grammar in your classroom lessons.
