If We Hire Shurmur, You Will

Pat Shurmur led offenses:

2009 Rams: 10.9 pts/game (32nd)

2010 Rams: 18.1 pts/game (26th)

2011 Browns: 13.6 pts/game (30th)

2012 Browns: 18.9 pts/game (24th)

The panthers have more offensive talent than either of those teams, but when you combine those kind of numbers with the fact that he runs a completely different scheme than Cam and a lot of our other players have ever ran, I think the evidence points to the opposite of dynamic

As you say, we have more talent than these teams and if the Browns averaged 19 points a game this year wouldn't you think that talent is worth a touchdown more???

Don't get me wrong, Shurmur wouldn't be my choice but I don't think it would be the disaster others do. I just question why the change when what we have been running has been working for the most part.
