Rotoworld comment on Pat Shurmur interview with the Panthers

Shurmur is a WCO guy, this would be a really bizarre hire...

That's the part I least understand.

You're either looking to change to a system that your QB's skill set doesn't fit or asking a guy to coach a system he has no experience with. Neither option sounds good to me.

About the only way Shurmur makes sense is as a backfill to the QB Coach if you promote Shula, and that option doesn't sound so good to me either.

LMAO... rotoworld changed their message..

Now the last sentence reads...

Former Browns coach Pat Shurmur is interviewing for the Panthers' offensive-coordinator vacancy on Monday.

As is Bengals DBs coach Hue Jackson. Carolina's interest in Shurmur was first reported on Friday. The conservative Shurmur would be a supremely uninspiring hire for Cam Newton's prospects both in real life and fantasy, and a major downgrade from Rob Chudzinski. Jackson is the far more compelling candidate, though his iconoclastic reputation could hurt him.

I guess it was to hursh for public haha
