Describe the biggest asshole you work with or have worked with

HA! sucks there are other people that have to deal with "omg, i'm so rich look what i bought this weekend!! look how big my new house is..oh yeah and by the way...I think you're a moron..everyone is actually dumber than me, and I'm never giving you a raise!!!!"

My co-worker has to deal a little more with him in terms of him telling her all the wonderful things he and his wife did/went to/whatever ... showing out regarding how much he makes ... knowing that we haven't had a raise in three years and HE's the one who keeps allowing them to cut our budget and fire people on our staff.

I can hardly bear to be in the same room with him, though. He's just slimy and stupid and incompetent, and everybody else knows it, too. We try to let him hang himself with his stupidity, but there's a fine line where we have to make sure we don't get the blame, you know.

I hate him more and more every single day. (If Meat were still here, he'd back me up!)

My "bossman" of 12 years was a total douche who didn't have a fuging clue. He was running this place into the ground.

He moved to another location and now I have his job, and subsequently, authority over him. I haven't been this satisfied with my job since I could go smoke joints on break at McDonalds

I don't have any assholes at my company. There are only 4 of us in our Charlotte office and they're all young (mid 20's) and we have no supervisors in this office. We just sorta do our own thing and nobody says anything to us unless we're not getting our work done.

There is an annoying woman that works in our Maryland office though. She loves to talk despite being mostly clueless about what we actually do. I can't believe we let her talk to clients.

I have to find a new job *sigh*

I hate him I hate him I hate him...OH and he's the owner too...he makes all the money and pays me poo

I'm about to go postal..just thinking about my growing hatred for him makes me envision bad things happening to him

Well, at least mine isn't the owner! We're getting a new "owner" (president) this summer ... and some say my boss will be the first casualty, but I'm not convinced.

But, you and I think a lot alike regarding our bosses ... it's scary sometimes.

I work for an egotistical womanizing prick of a pharmacist right now. He comes from money and a wrongful sense of righteousness. He talks down to customers that are women he deems "unattractive" while buttering up the "attractive" ones. He is really obvious and slimy about it too. He is incredibly lazy until an attractive female comes in. He will sit around on his phone fuging around on the internet, or micromanaging his wife's small business. He is married with two kids, and on more than one occasion I have seen him cuss out his wife on the phone and hang up on her, then explain to me what an absolute moron she is. I've met her a couple times, she is very sweet and pretty, but you can tell that her husband has just run her self esteem into the ground. Nothing is ever his fault, and he gets super defensive when people question him. He can't make a schedule without multiple errors, and then he blames it on his employees for not "updating their availability." I've seen him make an old woman cry by accusing her of being a pill popper, and he "accidentally" didn't schedule me for a week when I couldn't pick up a shift he needed covered. He will talk to his "fishing buddies" for 30 minutes while I do all of the work to keep us caught up. There is more, but I'll stop there. You get the picture.

oh i win this one

after high school and in the formative years after i got ejected from the marine corps because of knee surgeries and dropped out of college and got depressed and had one existential crisis after another i landed a job at chick-fila-a.

the corporation has their problems, but i've worked for some damn good people (having switched between two units in the triad area) but far and away the worst manager i've ever dealt with was the son of the owner of the second one (at the corner of guilford college and friendly ave in greensboro... don't give them your business.) the guy that owned it has his strong suits but he was a jackass, and his wife would flout christianity all over the place with a ridiculous number of references to "being blessed" and "praying for you" and stuff to the workers, but then she'd do stuff like yell at an employee making six bucks an hour to feed her four kids for eating a single fuging chicken nugget and making her go out to the front register and pay for the individual nugget. jesus loves ya.

anyway so their son was this massive doucher. he came home from an internship at this christian college thing that's basically a cult and he was super metro and charismatic and hit on all the girls that worked at the store. it was your classic son-of-the-owner complex. he'd sit in the office for hours doing nothing and as soon as he saw an attractive girl walk up to the counter on the video screen he'd blast out to the front and make a big show of being hot and leadery. it was the most transparent bullshit anyone had ever seen.

and he would try to be incredibly spiritual about mundane stuff just to make a big show of it. one guy working a cash register asked if he could take the window for that shift, and the response was "well let me pray about it first." SERIOUSLY? another time this guy was supposed to get off at 3pm and my manager asked him to stay an extra hour, and when the guy said yes, he was like "way to go man, way to be storing up that treasure in heaven"

i worked in the kitchen and he had no fuging clue how to do anything back there, and he'd come back and try to assert his will just to show off his managerial prowess and i ended up getting in his face a couple times about it, and he'd go write me up without telling me and then call his dad to see if he could fire me. i can't properly convey what a doucher this guy is without diving into a hundred different anecdotes about bullshit i had to deal with when i roomed with him for eight months at my apartment, but that's way too much to type out and no one cares anyway.

so basically boycott that chickfila. they're assholes.

I am young and I work a desk job because I am trained to use engineering software. One of my coworkers is old and he works out in the field because he is trained to work out in the field. He always kinda makes snide remarks and acts jealous that such a young person is working a more desirable job. I don't really hate him, it's just annoying as fug to have someone looking over your shoulder waiting for you to screw up to make little comments to the boss.

everybody has one

mine happened when I was 18 y/o and was an assistant manager at a chain restaurant who was the nastiest, most manipulative, androgynous, loathsome and reprehensible piece of snakeshit in the entire western hemisphere and if there is a hell that exists in this universe I hope she is condemned to it whenever she crosses into the afterlife for projecting her misery on other people by using her rank to bully late adolescents who are just trying to buy their GFs a necklace for Valentine's Day so they can get head

President of a real estate development company that I worked for in Hilton Head.

Awful human, hated sales people, loved his corporate/front office people. Didn't like the fact that we made much more money than his spokesman, secretary, etc.

The owner of the development told him to cut the staff in half as there was not enough room in the budget for that many folks. He diced the sales line (one's creating money) and kept all the accountants/secretaries and salaried folks (the ones sucking on the teet).

Made my life a living hell, along with every other salesperson. When he did fire the sales people he told my manager to pick out what 5 would stay, and what 5 would go. He met with the 5 that were staying to let them know they had jobs tomorrow and what was going to happen. I am the only one that made it, the other 4 were fired the next morning.

Awful human.
