To be honest, I like Cam but i had difficulty picking him over Wilson. Watching wilson delivering those balls to those receivers in the playoffs just make me pause. From short passes to long bombs the guy is accurate on all level plus he is clutch against top playoff team. I am not saying Cam can't do any of those in the future with top contenders but I see Wilson doing it now. If it werent for bad coaching decisions in the first half they would have won that game easily. And his arm is alive as well.

I sometimes watch Cam in the redzone with those bad overthrows and short hops that got me thinking I need to see more from Cam. I don't have that with Wilson. If someone's open he delivers it.

With Wilson you almost know he is going to win a superbowl in the near future especially if they add a percy harvin type playmaker and get their short passes going.

My picture of Cam is a home run type thrower like Flacco(passing-wise, comparison end there). Their arm is too strong to consistently ding & dunk and put the defense to sleep then go over the top.

With RG3, well he was accurate when he had to throw. He can make all the throws consistently like Wilson. He fits the ball in tight windows long or short. But he runs a high risk offense in which he is not protected.

With Luck, well, his completion percentage says it all. And too many excuses follows him. All you hear is how every position is bad on a perennial playoff team. Just pick any position on the colts, it was bad(according to his fans) but Luck was great, of course. We all know he is a rookie, we don't need to be reminded of it. Just prove to us why you were chosen to be a proffessional football player. Great players don't care about how bad the rest of the team is, they still do them and ball out. Just show me a sign. I see Matt Schaub in Luck. Like Schaub, they will build a good team around him but lack the it factor to make them elite.

So, for me, it's :

1. Wilson

2. Cam

3. RG3

My thing is off all those rookies, Luck is the only one who can't afford a sophomore slump. A sophomore slump for Luck would mean completing less than 50% of his passes with even more excuses. That's The Golden Calf of Bristol zone.

The rest, well, they aren't good enough else i would know more about them.

I forgot about Kaepernick. My evaluation of Kaepernick is that he is similar to Cam, only that he doesn't put enough air in his long balls sometimes. As a first time starter with limited experience I think he can tweak that a little. But like Cam, that dude is a playmaker and also durable because he is big. He also mentioned his best time in the 40 yard dash was 4.40. So, Kaepernick is pretty much a faster Cam.

So my new list.

1. Kaepernick(Height factor over Wilson)

2. Wilson

3. Cam(I keep thinking about those over throws and short hops, can't move him pass Wilson yet)

4. RG3(with a surgery-free knee I would put him atop my list just because he is a gifted passer and fast as hell)

Russel Wilson played great against Atlanta but did you guys notice how limited he was? There would be open recievers on half the field and he couldn't even dream of targeting them because he was walled off. He got so many first downs on broken plays. That's a hard way to make a living. We saw Doug Flutie do it for years but at the end of the day the 6'5" guy comes out on top.

368 yards passing, dude. How much more was left out there? The guy was throwing darts. When the 6'5 guys miss receivers, what's their excuses? Everybody miss receivers. Cam & Kaepernick got a lot of first downs on broken plays too. That's why they call them playmakers and peyton, well, choke and throw an INT.

Cam is fun to watch but if I wanted to win consistently Id have to go with Russ Wilson. He just seems to have a be so much more mature, hard working student of the game and polished as a leader of men. IMO - Right now, Cam is just good for highlight reels... Newton has a HUGE upside, hopefully he matures to the level of the others sooner rather than later.

1. Wilson

2. Kaep

3. Newton

4. Luck

5. Dalton

*I wouldnt want RG3, too fragile and seems to be selfish and self centered based on his most recent post game comments.

This was the discussion This morning on 102.5 FM in Nashville, during their review of the playoff games. Everyone except one caller said Cam Newton, "without a doubt". The hosts kept saying, "could you imagine Cam with the 49ers offense, Whew!". Mind you, they aren't normally very friendly when it comes to Cam.

It's just cool to see that everyone recognizes what the Panthers have at QB.....

Probably the most impressive part of Wilson's game, in my opinion is how aware and elusive he is in the pocket. He is a great thrower too, but his footwork is as good as it gets and he may be the smartest of the bunch. Not that i would take him over Cam or anything, but I could see how if this were posted on any other teams message board how he would right now probably get the majority of these votes.
