Cam Newton needs to quit this BS

Brady had a burst of emotion.

As does Cam.

Cam does choreographed and ostentatious celebrations.

As does Rodgers.

They are different.

Yet very similar.

Also one is on a winning team in the playoffs,

Uh-huh...

the other celebrates first downs against teams that'll be drafting in the top 3 while his own team has a losing record

Falcons will be drafting in the top 3? How'd they swing that?

and while his own team is down multiple scores in the game.

Which Cam did once.

Irrelevant. You don't earn the right to have fun and show emotion bc of rings.

Media picks on what they want to pick on......nothing more. They want to pick on Cam therefore they nitpick.

oh ye of little scope of perception, no one cares what you do wrong if you are winning, period. if you don't think that's the case look at how much media attention Jacksonville gets around the NFL, no one cares about them because they suck.

all this crap wouldn't even be discussed today if it wasn't for this butt hurt fan bringing up this topic because "OMG a QB other then Cam celebrated and wasn't ridicules it must be a conspiracy!!!!!!!"

I couldn't give to poos about the opinions of any of the Cam Newton Nut huggers because they are worshiping someone who by NFL standards outside of putting up pretty stats hasn't accomplished Jack poo yet.

now with that said I like Cam, he's the only Jersey I've bought in 4 years, I think he has great upside and hopefully he will lead this team to the Playoffs next year and maybe even a super bowl further down the road. but worshiping a guy for not doing more then put up pretty stats at this point? ya you guys can have fun with that.

So do you not think that quarterbacks should emulate players who have won superbowls?

dumb, Quarterbacks who have won super bowls get passes for being prima donna's, quarterbacks who haven't even had a winning season yet don't get a pass when celebrating while their team is getting their cleats beat off.

He's comparing Tom Brady making an important first down in a playoff game and then celebrating to Cam Newton celebrating every first down he makes, regardless of regular season wins and losses or the score of the game.

If you're going to try and make an intelligent point, it would help if you had an idea what you talking about. This was a week 14 regular season game, not a playoff game. Good effort though. Maybe next time champ.

Not true. Tom Brady and Rodgers almost always do something after a first down/TD run. Brady may not have a signature move like Rodgers but neither is them just run and act as if it was no big deal

How many times does Brady run for a first down? 5-6 times a year? Cam does it 5x as much...thus celebrates 5x as a many times...and in the end when you celebrate 1st downs THAT much it looks like a showboat move.
