its funny that people think its bad form for a player to rally their team.

that's what they're trying to do. its not a celebration...it's an effort to get their teammates fired up and rolling.

step out of your boring little boxes. showing emotion is ok.

We as a fanbase should know better than anyone that a 21 point lead isn't exactly insurmountable. And if you're on the right side of that number, you need to keep your foot on the gas. Converting on 3rd and long probably went a good way towards icing that game.

Granted, I don't think he should have done it. It was just a first down.... I am hardly a Brady fan boy, but he does have enough rings to celebrate what he feels is worthy of celebration.

So if a 21 point lead isn't insurmountable (although against New England I would say it is as close as it gets) do you think it is fair to celebrate when you score a TD to cut a lead to two possessions in the 3rd quarter?

The thing y'all are ignoring is Cam and Colin are doing all this before paying their dues.

Tom Brady aside since he won the Super Bowl right out of the gate for him, other QBs did their celebration before paying their dues.

No QB is going to get criticized for one fist pump in a playoff game. That they are winning.

Not a playoff game. It was their game during the regular season.

Also so the key is to run for a first down lest frequently but do celebration each time. If you run for a first down more than other QB and do a celebration each time, then you are being douche bag.

I am pretty much always fine with what a guy wants to do provided he gets into the endzone. It's the first down celebrations that are a bit grating on the nerves. I see your logic, but the one fatal flaw being that if you're down by that many you shouldn't be caught up with one. You should be after more. Leading in the game has a LOT to do with how acceptable and well-received it will be in my opinion.

I agree the first down celebrating can be a bit much but why is Cam singled out and torn apart when almost everyone does? I think that's the point behind this thread.

Folks rake Cam over the coals as if they r taking their anger or dislike out on him becsuse it's being made okay by our media. Yet we make all kinds of justification when it's a media preferred player.

Didn't Arian Foster also do a touchdown celebration with them being down by 20?? All of this is overblown by media and fans. Let these guys celebrate no matter if its scripted. Its an emotional game. Smitty spins the ball on almost every catch and we love his passion so let these guys play!!!

It's amazing how only some folks r innocent until proven guilty? By the way, Tom and his team were already found guilty of cheating but no one is labeling him. But Cam was never found guilty of anything but we know he's guilty because.....

Dude, it was sarcasm... its a parody of actual cam haters. Dont cry.
