had carolina not lost to tampa bay 2x, seattle, atlanta, and new york (all common opponents from this season and next) their win/loss records would be lower...and carolina's 2013 schedule would calculate to look easier.

I will say this, Atlanta bas an easier schedule according the link and they rank first in our division, had we won our division then we would have an easier schedule.

if seems like the 1st and 4th teams in a division have the easier schedules at first glance.

The Falcons have the weaker SOS because they don't play themselves and their 13-3 record. Only two games per year are determined by where you place in a division, because you have six division games, four inter-conference division games, four extra-conference division games, and one each from the other conference divisions against the team that finished in the same position as you. And we finished 2nd in the NFC South.

I don't think the Falcons are that tough, we could have beat them the first time and we did the second time with an inferior team the second time than the first. The only thing I want for our team, is a set of corners that can contain roddy and julio. I am pretty sure if Tony is back Luke can do some good work on him with the help of Davis and Anderson.

So personally, I don't think our schedule is as tough of the numbers prove. Fiery, you are absolutely right, the Falcons have the best record out of the teams that we play so that does have a lot to do with the numbers, but other than them the other 2 teams in our division are 7-9 not exactly a stellar division.
