Ebay has all kinds of vintage Hornets hats and jerseys. I've got so many old charlotte hornets jerseys off of there for cheap

I can't imagine it would be as quick as next season. I'd say NO will change their name, we remain the Bobcats a year, and then become the Hornets again. No facts to back that up, just my opinion.

We can easily become the Hornets again. Actually, if they can become the Pelicans then it's much easier for us to be the Hornets since the NBA already owns all the rights and trademarks of the name. There is no reason we can't be the Hornets next season, as long as the name is given up and MJ pays the $3 mill or so for the rights.

First the name has to become available, the the nba needs to approve it, mj put the money up. Then it would take a couple seasons unless the nba puts a rush on it.

this has all been hush hush. Its pretty much a done deal ever since Benson bought the team.

Adam Silver pointed out last season that we would be able to change much quicker than the usual timeframe b/c the NBA already has the rights, designs, etc. as the Hornets is an NBA property. So, I fully expect that we'd be able start the season next year as the Hornets.
