Dude has problems when it comes to his girlfriends. The Steelers released him for slapping his girl.

Police say in a news release that Rainey was arguing with his girlfriend over his cellphone. His girlfriend got into a vehicle and the former Florida Gator tried to pull her out.

Witnesses told detectives that Rainey slapped his girlfriend across the face and then chased her when she ran away with his phone in her purse.

In 2010, Rainey accepted deferred prosecution for misdemeanor stalking after his arrest for texting his on-again, off-again girlfriend of three years, "Time to Die bitch."

He has also received a defiant trespass charge for refusing to leave a casino, notwithstanding that he voluntarily put himself on a list that banned him from casinos (probably because of a gambling addiction).

Don't want a guy bitch-slapping his girl, or threatening to kill his girl with our history. Not a good look, and don't think J.R. would go for it.
