Hue Jackson to be interviewed on monday.

Honestly, I would be incredibly excited about Hue Jackson at OC. Hue would bring us back to a balanced, under-center attack that JStew could really flourish under.

Also, something I believe that Jackson would bring that Chud didn't: Jackson is a tough, in-your-face type of guy, Chud is the nerdy, in-the-booth-away-from-the-action type guy. I think our team really needs someone who can get after them.

Yeah that's why I said earlier that Hue having some attitude was a good thing. Look at Chud, do you think he could motivate you to do anything? And running the ball again will help our team tremendously so that's why I hope he signs today.

when was the last time chud was actually on the field? i wonder if he's planning on separating himself from the team in cleveland as well.

re:jackson, i love the attitude and fight in him. i love how he is on the sidelines. the team could use a motivator like that.

I don't ever recall seeing him on the sidelines.

It didn't seem to bother some here, but it always irked me. Especially considering our offenses inconsistencies.

He will be fine if he hires a great college scout.

Gettleman has loads of experience as a college scout.

The post was a sarcastic rip on Pat Yasinskas because he told a Panther fan in an ESPN chat that Gettleman had never been a college scout. Apparently Yasinskas hasn't read his bio.

Pretty ironic when you consider a guy who actually didn't have any scouting experience at any level was the guy Yasinskas had pegged as the next GM (turns out he was never even a candidate).

you also have to take into account how hue fits in with the rest of the coaching staff. This is about building relationships. I like his fire but would he pair well with Rivera. Does Rivera have the capacity to keep him in check with that ego thats been widely reported. Successful teams have a level of cohesiveness, that might be in question bringing someone like Hue in. I love the guy, think he is an awesome offensive mind. But does it fit in with what Rivera is trying to do. And yes we can talk about Rivera being on the bubble so it doesnt matter. But I believe this team is built for a deep playoff run. Others certainly disagree.
