When its all said and done it boils down to Cam and who we surround him with

I think the careers of Rivera, Gettleman, future OC, and fan satisfaction boils down to Cam growing emotionly and providing him with the tools, protection, and the development he needs to flourish.

This league is all about the QB and Cam is freakish with his talent but he needs to further develop the mental aspects of the game.

To me Rivera is very good at making the best of questionable talent on defense as he did with our secondary and banged up dl last year. I am fairly confident we will hire a competent OC. On offense, Cam needs a better OL,a quicker release, and weapons that have the ability to get open and make plays. The rest is up to Cam to run this offense. If we score 30 points per game we will be a playoff contender.

I find it funny how not one Panther fan has called out for any of the Vets to step up and play the mature role with this team but expect more out of a 23 year old than you do 30 something Vets on this team.

And you wonder why find it so easy to pick on Cam? Notice RG III nor Luck's mental and maturity isn't never being questioned no matter what they does and says. Stop falling for the media's double standard BS.

I really wish everyone would stop making Cam Newton the end all and be all of this organization. This is the reason why Newton is likely to follow in the foot steps of one Lebron James. Stop building around Newton specifically, and just build a good team. period. Allow Newton to be a clog in the wheel of a very good team.

This is how the Packers, 49ers, Pats, Seattle, and especially ATL is built. This is the reason why Aaron Rodgers can miss a game and Matt Flynn can throw for 500 yards, why the 49ers could win with Alex Smith at QB, why the Pats could win 10 games without Brady, the Seahawks could win with a Rookie QB, and why ATL can win with Ryan throwing 5 picks and having a noodle arm.

And this is the reason why the Panthers couldn't win a game until week 16 of his second season starting when Cam threw at least one pick.

The team is too damn dependent on Newton being "superman."

Chud leaving was prob the best thing that could have happened to Cam. It was clear he would sacrifice anything for the sake of getting a head coaching job. I mean how many times was this "guru" of football out coached by the other teams DC.
