With the players and depth we have on this team, we should be a lot better. We have to be blowing this season in hope of getting Zeller or Shabazz or someone. That's my only explanation

I am with you on this one. I think it is why Dunlap's rotations sometimes seem so random. Season is about evaluating talent for the long term. We honestly can't afford to win or else it screws everything we are working for.

I don't understand how we are not better defensively.

Kemba, Taykor, MKG, Bismack, and Thomas are all above average defenders or at least are billed to be.

And Dunlap is supposed to be a great defensive mind. It just doesn't make any sense.

biyombo is statistically a pretty terrible defender. i still like him long term but he's years away from being even an average nba player. this is clearly a throw-away year; if they were concerned about winning a project like that would be getting 5 mpg.

Yup. Its a fascinating experiment, the bobcats are basically teaching a guy how to play basketball by playing 30 minutes/ game in the NBA
