Potential OC Candidates Here

Shurmur's a WCO guy.

There's also Al Saunders. He has some nebulous "consultant" role with the Raiders right now.

Saunders is a genius. Some call him the reason that the Coryell stuff started going to 900 page playbooks, but since it's a language and so much of it's interchangeable, I think people overblow that part of it. Martz said there were 150 ways to run F-post (a signature play in the offense) so 900 pages isn't really an exaggeration, but it's not 900 different plays to learn. No idea why he stayed with the Raiders, since they moved to WCO.

Hue makes a lot of sense, but no connection there (or Saunders).

FWIW, Ramsdell from the Chargers is out there. Sure, probably goes to Cleveland, but would be ideal.

Forgot about Ramsdell. That'd be a great choice.

Bob Bratkowski's another Coryell guy that'll be looking for work.
