The Panthers should really consider David Amerson

State fans what do you think of him? Would it be a good second round pick? Can he hit well enough to play safety?

Real hitters cannot play Safety anymore. The real question should be whether or not he is a solid tackler.

Amerson isn't going to be able to play corner at the next level. He's too big and seems too lost. His tackling skills are shoddy at the best of times.

Amerson is going to be a FS at the next level, but there are definitely better FS prospects out there.

I'm not a fan of most of the safties in this draft class. And I've said it a few times before Amerson has the potential to be a very good FS, but he'd be a below average CB.
