Could our draft be better than this?

Well, folks this is gonna be the best draft I can see us having. Let me know what you think. Starters and potential starters with every pick imo that also fill big needs.

Some way some how we need to acquire another 2nd. Trade down with St. Louis (14th for the 22nd) might be an option. Anything damnt!

1st Round: OG Johnathon Cooper 6'3 310 North Carolina

Immediate starter and upgrade on the OL. Can also play C.

2nd Round: OT DJ Fluker 6'6 335 Alabama

Not many guys his size can move like him. Really quick feet, long arms, and powerful.

2nd Round: WR Da Rick Rodgers 6'3 208 Tennessee Tech

Watch the tape. All you need to see on this guy.

4th Round: DT Montori Hughes 6'3 330 Tennessee Martin

Highly toughted prep player that left Tennessee and finished out his career at Tennesse Martin. You are not moving this guy off the line!

5th Round: CB / S Sanders Commings 6'1 216 Georgia

I think this guy would make for a really good FS.

6th Round: CB Melvin White 6'1 191 La-Lafayette

Dude is a play maker and a steal late imo.

While certain needs are addressed, other ones are ignored. We need a starting caliber DT, and we're not likely to get something like that past the third round. If we keep/restructure Gamble, then there is only really need for a CB to replace Munnerlyn, and you may be able to sign a guy that could start.

Yea, it would be stupid for the Rams to move up for an OL when they can get one later.

We just need to make any fugging trade or move to get another 2nd.

Cooper late in the first would be a great pick.

Unless someone blows up the combine or people make crazy picks in the draft. I really cant out due myself.

Starting OG, Starting OT, Starting WR, Potential Starting DT, S, and CB.

Only thing that we are missing is LB depth and a K

Cant answer every need in one draft.

I think im done folks.

Mathews and recently heard that Lewan is going back. Only two top tier LT that should go in the 1st. Once Joeckel goes, Fisher is going to get a lot of interest. A team like the Rams would likely trade up for the 2nd best OT in the draft if he's still there at 14.

    • First of all Sooners fan? Mods? Second if you think someone needs a specific reason to hate Texas you don’t watch real college football.
    • 100% even if rest of team is really talented if they march young out to be qb and he plays like he has for 90% of his starts the panthers have already lost doesnt even matter how good the rest of the team is or isnt and also makes it hard to even tell how good they are.  They need true competition for young this offseason.
    • It will be awesome to have an improved stadium to lose in I guess....   https://www.yahoo.com/news/panthers-file-rezoning-bank-america-111500840.html     The Carolina Panthers have taken another necessary step toward renovating their home of the present and future. Panthers Stadium, LLC, filed its rezoning site plan with the city of Charlotte on Monday, initiating an important — if mostly technical — step toward renovating Bank of America Stadium. The filings state that the rezoning relates “primarily to technical aspects associated with improvements to Bank of America Stadium,” and that the rezoning is required because “the current stadium zoning is out of date” for the team’s stadium renovation plans.   The planned stadium updates include new seats installed throughout the upper and lower bowls; stadium safety and security enhancements; a reimagined South Lawn Pavilion; upgraded restrooms; exterior enhancements (including LED video boards) and more. Planning for the stadium renovation project will continue through 2025, with construction starting in 2026 and the renovation’s conclusion in 2029, The Observer previously reported.
