Warmack come on down

All aboard the Warmack Wagon! This would solidify the interior of our line for years to come. Amini-Kalil-Warmack would open up gaping holes for our running game and keep our number one asset in Cam Newton on his feet and healthy.

Not a flashy pick by any means but easily the safest, fills one of our biggest needs, and we get an impact day 1 starter out of the gates. How can you not love a guard that plays with his gut hanging out? Build from the trenches on outwards.

Round 1: Warmack

Round 2: Best DT available (Sharrif Floyd?)

I'm just thinking Warmack gone before 14.

I'd jizz over a Warmack/Floyd combo!

If not a Warmack/WR combo! More power to the offense.

He's a top 10 pick no doubt

LOL, are you kidding? Last year people were calling DeCastro the next Hutchison at this point, saying he could go top ten. That guy ended up going in the mid-twenties.

Warmack is a great player--the closest thing to a no-risk pick that you can make. But teams with holes so enormous that they end up with a top ten pick can't even consider taking a guard. Additionally, it's not just about picking the best players. It's about value. Teams feel like they can grab a short tackle in the later rounds, kick him inside, and have a solid guard. The premier positions (DE, QB, OT) are taken high because they're harder to come by. A guard won't go in the top ten.

I'd love to get him, and I really think he will be available. You got to remember most of the teams picking ahead of us are pretty defunct organizationally and are going to roll the dice on 4 quadrillion pass rushing specialists where only 2 end up being moderately successful.

How much of better prospect is Warmack coming out of college compared to DeCastro last year?

Everybody also though DeCastro would be drafted in the 10-15 range and he eventually got picked up by the Steelers with the 24th pick.

Decastro was a much better prospect overall. Much superior pass blocker, much quicker, more refined.

Seriously this team is way too close to bursting through to waste a 1st round pick on a run blocking OG, especially when you can find other OGs with minimal talent disparity in the later rounds.

"argh! Yeah! Three yards and a cloud of dust! That's real football! Well run our way right to another 7-9 record baby! But at least you can't say we'll be likely those sissy passing teams! Who cares if they're 13-3? They aren't REAL men! Take the safe prospect!"

So why pick a guard who can't play tackle when we can pick a tackle who can play guard or tackle. Seems way too high for a guy who has limited versatility.

We thought Keek could play OLB and MLB and look how much of a difference he made when we moved him back to his natural position. I will take a guy that can absolute dominate at one position over someone who can play 2 pretty well. Warmack could be as good as Carl Nicks.

Arguments you'll hear from mentally challenged people for Warmack this coming draft season which should send a red flag up in your mind each and every time

1. "He's the safe prospect!"

2. "BPA bruh!"

3. He's a dominant run blocker! We can get back to REAL football!"

The man is absolutely going top15 if not top10.

Every year is different. No top 15 teams last year needed OL help. That's why Decastro fell that far. This year is different. Arizona, Carolina (us), Tennessee, St. Louis, Cleveland, and Buffalo all needs OL help and could use a Warmack.

I hate to say it but big college programs play a huge role in who get drafted, and early or not. Scouts and experts loves these Bama players bc of Saban, the experience playing in a pro system, and the leadership attitude these guys have.
