Why Feldman9000 Thinks Beane will be the GM

the more i think about it, the GM coming in who already has a poo-ton of stuff to do around here, namely with the cap and the draft and FAs and trade and crap contracts.....and then say, "by the way you're first order of business is to decide the fate of the guy the players love potentially turning them against you right after you've moved into your office"...not sure i'd want that job.

at least this way he gets to get other stuff done and see what is going on within the organization and the team and see first hand if he's worth keeping or not.

i'm still pissed that things have shaken out the way that they have. i'm still not liking that JR didn't have enough sense to wipe the board clean and lose hurney and fox at the same time. i don't like that it was jerry who made the decision to keep rivera, but bless his donated heart, he's trying to clean up the mess he made a couple years ago. i view this as damage control.

rivera has a year to get us in the playoffs. if not then the new GM can find a HC who fits the team better and who can pull more out of them than good feelings and a winning streak in december after being eliminated from the playoffs.

Thought of that too. Plate's already full. Why pile something else on?

You guyz r such h8rs. Plus, who would want to deal with this cap situation?

How about a guy whose only experience is handling logistical stuff like travel arrangements?

I'm sure that guy could master the salary cap, right?
