if luck was all that good at coming back he would came back against the ravens d who are not even their prime any more. he should of had 4 picks to day. lol he throw s the ball right to defenders. while alot of cam int came from deflected passes. lol

However, the difference here and what helped Cam a bunch is his athletic ability and his backfield support. The ability the likes of which Luck can only dream of and Double trouble to the tune of 50 million dollars (give or take)

Sounds like you're blaming Cam for his natural ability that Luck doesn't have. And your argument is...?

Isn't that the huddler's argument as to why our Cam is the boss among all those new QBs?

so Luck did nothing well this season? he broke the rookie yards for a season record and rookie single game record. brought his team back 7 times. thats 7 and that ties Peyton Mannings record for most come from behind wins in a single season.

Colts D was 26th overall. Panthers 10.

im just baffled at the blindness here.

Give Cam 600 attempts, and tell him he doesn't have to complete 1/2 of them, and Cam will throw for 5000 yards.

Luck racked up wins against the Jacksonvilles, TNs, and KCs of the NFL. Beyond that, Indy would not need so many come backs if not for his high number of turnovers.

Luck has nothing to do with the sked and which division he plays in. Carolina lost to KC.

Ya ever thought maybe the reason Luck threw for over 600 times was because he was handing the ball off to Vick Ballard?

Also, the Colts D is no where as good as Carolina's which I mentioned earlier.

you can give somebody credit and still be a fan of your team. or in some of you guys case, player. im a fan of the TEAM.

fewer attempts.. I keep hearing that

I will agree that the receivers are about the same, and stats don't lie as far as attempts go.

However, the difference here and what helped Cam a bunch is his athletic ability and his backfield support. The ability the likes of which Luck can only dream of and Double trouble to the tune of 50 million dollars (give or take)

so the fug what if it was fewer attempts. I am not comparing the two. Cam's record is gone none the less and Luck had a FANTASTIC rookie year.

why are you people so insecure that you cannot admit such a commonly known and simply understood fact?

get the fug over yourselves. Cam is better IMHO but Luck is very good.

Since when does GB, Den, New Orleans, and the Patriots have good RBs?? You don't have to have good RBs to be a good QB and not having good RBs doesn't prevent you from being a good QB.

There have been several young QBs who have had little or no running game that have been able to complete over 50% of their passes more than once in 6 games.

Last I checked having a good running game doesn't make you miss receivers and have less than adequate arm strength.

Everyone keeps telling me that he "looked good for a rookie". Well everyone also told me he was the most mentally advanced QB to come out of college in NFL history. Yet, for someone who is as advanced in terms of football IQ he sure seems to struggle at times making quick reads and getting the ball to his receivers on time.

Honestly, out of Cam, Wilson, RG3, Luck and Dalton I would say he is the worst of that group. And I am not sure he has higher upside than any of them either except possibly Dalton.

Lots of QBs have won games. Marc Sanchez has won a lot of games. The Golden Calf of Bristol won a lot of games. Joe Flacco wins a lot of games doesn't mean they are great QBs. Some of those guys I just mentioned actually suck.

And to the people who chalk it up somehow to sour grapes. There may have been some of that in the immediate aftermath of Luck going back to Stanford, especially when many didn't think there was another franchise QB in the draft that year. But now, 2 years later, I think most of us on here would agree that we have a pretty good and talented QB. Furthermore, i doubt 90% of the people on here would trade Cam Newton for Andrew Luck.

So why the fug would we be bitter over a guy that is not better, or if you give him way more credit than I do on par with, Cam Newton not coming here? Why would anyone, after seeing what Cam has done and what he still can become as he develops, care that Luck went back to Stanford. That quick, easy, and lazy argument no longer holds much water.

If I should hate someone for irrational reasons it would be Russell Wilson because I am a UNC fan, yet not only do I love his game and think he should be OROY, I also think he is one of the best rookie QBs I have ever seen. Up there with Cam's rookie year.

So dismissing what I have to say as mere fandom, or some sort of butthurt, I think is the easy way out to dismiss my points. Look at the stats, but better yet, watch him play.

Anyone who watched the game at 1:00 and then the game after cannot honestly say that they think Luck is better than those two QBs. RG3 struggled in the second half, but he was also playing on one leg and was up against the absolute best defense in the NFL (IMO).

Yes, the media liked Luck a lot, but why are you guys acting so surprised? Was he not touted by us back in 2010 as the next John Elway? We ourselves overhyped Luck, so stop blaming the media for doing the same thing. By the way, he is not overhyped. A good 70% of the teams in this league wished they had Luck. Must I keep mentioning how Manning threw 28 ints his rookie year, yet he turned out okay.

You guys need to stop whining about Luck and the media. The guy will have a great career as long as he stays healthy.
