Greg Olsen On The Read Option

Recommended Posts

They mentioned Webb, RGIII, Wilson and Kapernick as the NFL read option QBs.

Noticed that too.

Pretty good indicator just how far we've fallen out of the public consciousness.

Hard to blame Al Michaels, though. When was the last time he saw a Panthers game?

Side note: Greg Bedard speculated on Twitter whether Chip Kelly (if he signs with the Browns) might go after Webb to be his starting quarterback next season.

Personally, I wonder if Kelly would try to offer us something to get his old running back up there.

people couldn't talk enough about it when we were the only ones doing it and weren't doing it very well.

he's got trent richardson. i don't think he needs stewie.

wouldn't mind a straight up trade, tho. younger, cheaper, just as good....yeah, i'd take that.

Also, no QB has more rushing yards or TDs than Cam the last 2 years.

They mentioned Webb, RGIII, Wilson and Kapernick as the NFL read option QBs.

I had the same initial reaction about that then realized that the qbs they mentioned are all in the playoffs. Maybe some merit there but then again Collinsworth is a douche.

Never know. He might want a two back system (tough I imagine he'd want number two to come cheaper than Stewart).

Pretty sure Josh Cribbs is outta there next season.

Side Note: I wonder how much grief Matt Kalil is gonna get from Ryan about that sack where Clay Matthews got rolled into Webb from behind

Of course, Matt has a built in retort. He can always ask how Ryan's preparation for the Super Bowl is going.
