Well CRA,

the thing that bothers me with fans like you would like to run cam in the ground much like the skins did rg3. Any time you have a quarterback that rushes for more than premiere backs then that's a problem. I stand by my statement, stewie has been injured every year and due to the fact that Williams was taking the bulk of the snaps that helped protect stewie from injuries. If stewie has to carry the running game he isn't proven to hold up. At least with Williams, we can use him for 3 to 4 more years since his body hasn't taken the abuse as most backs in the league at his age.

Much of what you say is true, but we have a problem. We can't continue having 2 highly paid RB's on the roster. Stewart still has like $20 million dollars coming to him guaranteed, meaning we are stuck with him. It would be next to impossible to cut or trade Stew, thanks to Hurney magic. So that leaves DWill as the one that has to go.

All things being equal, I think DWill is still the better back between the two. And I do worry about Stew's nagging foot/ankle problems, but his contract is water over the bridge and there's nothing we can do about it now.

So like you, I wish we could keep DWill, but it just doesn't seem to be a realistic option at this point.
