Window (winder or win-duh)

Water (wood-er or wadd-er)

Poem (po-eeem)

Gas (gace)

Country (cone-tree)

Oh man, thats real country talk, like what im used to hearing

Any athletic shoes - tennyshoes

Spigot - spicket

Chimney - chimalee

DVD- tape

CD - tape

Walmart - walmarts

Laundry detergent - washin' powders

Interesting - inner resting

Embarrassed - embearsed

LOL, those are some good ones too, for tennyshoes in particular, when I worked at Lowes "chimalee" drove me nuts.

One I forgot is:

"Toboggan": head gear for cold weather, anyone I ever met from anywhere looks at me like I have a dick growing out of my face when I called a beanie or skullcap a toboggan.

Everyone where I lived always called roads "the" for instance: "if ya go down the gray road" or "I saw him on the Barr road"

My wife gets irritated with "the" and the way we say "cut on the lights" and she really gets annoye when chicken and pastries and not called chicken and dumplings.

More like the first syllable is pronounced like the nickname of a former Charlotte Hornets center from Georgetown. First round pick in 1992.

Guy in my office is from Canada and when I call a hat a toboggan he goes nuts too. (its a sled)
