So what do you guys think is happening now? Do you think JR is 50/50 on wanting to fire Rivera so what he is doing is casually contacting some HC candidates and informally asking them what they think about coaching the Panthers and if he gets a candidate he likes show interest, do you think JR then asks potential GMs in interviews to see if they would be on board on a HC candidate? I just wonder how this works.

Does anyone remember any situation where a team was looking for a new GM but still unsure of the current HCs fate?
