LOL Bro Beane will not be the GM. The guy was Hurney go to boy when he needed something. If JR fired Hurney. Why would he give Beane that job. Beane is Hurney himself reborn. Stupid thinking. JR would not waste tons of money on a person to help him search for another GM if he was going to make Beane the GM. Get real bro. Beane is just filling the shoes for the second. Beane will be back in his little corner office by the end of the month once the new GM is hired. Who will it be is anyone guess. But Beane is not the one who will be hired as the perm. GM. I agree but I think most would agree that Hurney was pretty good with the cap. I think his biggest issue was not spending our precious dollars on the right people. Hurney can restructure contracts with the best if them.

On day one, we asked permission to speak to two strong candidates from the Giants, one of whom has received no interest anywhere else so there's not likely to be any competition for him.

Pretty much nobody outside of Pat Yasinskas thinks Brandon Beane has a chance at the job. Even Joe Person called him "a longshot".

No one seems to know where Jerry Richardson is. he could be in New York working on getting one of the Giants guys right now.
