This is a very interesting idea. On the one hand, Ken Whisenhunt has been an awesome OC/HC in the past and has done the best with the very little he has been given at the QB position. On the other hand, he has reportedly been involved in the QB debacle that has happened there, being in on the Kolb trade, etc.

Not that high on Whisenhunt as a head coach. As an OC maybe, but that's only likely if Rivera's gone.

Throw a some cash at Norv. Let Norv be our OC b/c # 1 he is much better than Chud and #2 gives Ron a former HC on staff (which he admitted he poo'd up not having.

Ron is worth having pending he can get a good OC. Chud cost us this season. Rivera doesn't have tons of D talent and turned them into a top 10 D. He can do a lot more with talent.

This is kind of the way I feel about it. Sure, he is probably a better coach than Rivera, but is he so much better that we scrap what we've done for two years to get him? No, I don't think he is.

However, if Rivera was to be let go, and I were the GM, I would definitely interview Whisenhunt.

an upgrade potential as a HC in terms of game management. He can't do what Rivera did with out D.

Biggest factor is we need to be consistant around Cam. That alone probably is worth not doing anything this year with our coaches. Cam stability in the short term likely pays bigger gains for us big picture.
