True. That said, giving a first time head coach full power is insane.

that wouldn't be the first time he did something like that. it's essentially what happened with andy reid, isn't it? i mean he didn't have the title, but he had the power.

i still think that chud is showing himself to be smarter than rivera about moving up to a HC gig.

brings on an experienced HC to help him learn the ropes of the job. he's also in a good situation in that he gets to work with a clean slate at the GM(/VP of personnel) and has a guy that knows what he's doing there.

If Ray Horton ends up as DC there, that's another good move for Chud. As far as the new coaches go, him and McCoy may have made out the best at coordinator hires.
