Ian Rapoport says it's head coach or nothing for Lovie this season since he actually still has a year of pay coming from the Bears.

So I guess unless the Jags or Cards hire him, he sits out a year.

Teams interested in Mike Wallace may have gotten a hint of good news from Steelers GM Kevin Colbert.

While promising "changes" for the Steelers, Colbert said the team doesn't have "too many franchise players" and stated they're not "married to anybody". His comments make it sound unlikely that the team will use the franchise tag on Wallace.

I kinda question how well the Whisenhunt/Manning combo will work.

Tom Moore essentially let Peyton run the offense back at Indy. McCoy did the same thing. I'm not sure Whisenhunt would be on board with that notion.

Not 100%, Manning didn't run the offense.. one of the only years he hasn't done so. Of course he audibles and so forth but Manning took a step back ego wise and let McCoy call plays down. Hence the happiness in him leaving denver from bronco fans. Nfl.com did a few articles on Manning taking that step back and why Mccoy was one of the biggest reasons Manning went to denver. Question is does manning respect the next oc as much as he did McCoy.
