NFL Coaching / GM News

True, but Philly has long been known as a top tier team.

Now...

Edit: Wait. Were you talking about Crossman?

Aww hell no...I have ZERO idea why Crossman is in the league. He's sucked everywhere and I can't remember a time he's ever been good.

I was referring to your comment about McCoy/Bradley. Head coaching candidates, specifically.

Speaking of coordinators with flaws, a couple of head coaching candidates didn't exactly light up the big stage in yesterday's playoff games.

Mike McCoy's offense needed a couple of big returns from Trindon Holiday to keep pace with the Ravens. Seahawk DCGus Bradley's unit didn't look so hot either, especially giving up those big plays at the end that put Atlanta in a position to win.

Both are said to be interviewing today (McCoy in San Diego, Bradley - I think - in Philly)

Yeah, they pushed Arians back to Wednesday in SD for McCoy today. With the pace of the coaching search in SD, I'm wondering if Telesco's possibly holding out for Roman.

Might be tough. Conventional wisdom has Roman as a lock for Jacksonville.

While Roman/Caldwell have the whole college roomie thing, Roman also knows Telesco from his days at John Carroll. It's worth a shot since Telesco can sell still being out West (if it means anything) and a roster that's closer to the playoffs than the Jags.

Word from Schefter (via Gantt) that Mike McCoy prefers the Chargers over other opportunities.

There's some curiosity now. The Chargers were supposed to interview McCoy in Denver today but the plane that they took to Denver is now back in San Diego after only being in Denver for 30 minutes. So the mystery is: did McCoy return on the plane to San Diego, or is he now pushing ahead with the Cardinal pursuit? Passing on SD would be a weird move given Schefter's report about preferring SD.

While we're at it, where's Todd Haley today?
