Interesting start for Caldwell in JAX. I guess Shad Khan subscribes to "if you love something, set it free" cause he was behind Caldwell's 2nd Jets visit. Also when talking about The Golden Calf of Bristol, Caldwell can't imagine a scenario where The Golden Calf of Bristol is in JAX

Interesting stuff on Turner. I wonder if Rivera asked him about it in wake of the Chud interview in CLE and was turned down... hmm

TURNER TO THE DESERT?

XTRA Sports 910's Mike Jurecki reported Thursday that Cardinals defensive coordinator and head coaching candidate Ray Horton has reached out to former Chargers coach Norv Turner to gauge his interest in becoming the team's next offensive coordinator if Horton should become the Cards' coach. Turner reportedly wants to stay out west and has already declined an opportunity with a team back east.

Turner won two Super Bowls with the Dallas Cowboys as OC in 1992 and 1993. He also has served as head coach of the Washington Redskins and the Oakland Raiders, and as offensive coordinator for the Chargers, Miami Dolphins, and San Francisco 49ers.

Also look for the Bears to go Offense with the Head Coach, so remove anyone that doesn't have OC experience of some sort or the other. Some are saying that McCoy is the favorite in Chicago and they are waiting on the Bronco's to get eliminated or reach the super bowl. On that note, Cutler had this to say about McCoy.

Cutler said "I liked Mike (McCoy)...knows a lot about football, very flexible."

Cutler on Mike McCoy: "I think we had 2 meetings together, and then they kicked me out."

Ed Werder (ESPN) already reported the Cowboys will be moving to a 4-3 alignment. They do have some pieces for it (Ratliff as pass rushing DT, Sean Lee at WLB, Brandon Carr in Ronde Barber role). Big question is do they keep Ware as a LB or making him a hand-in-the-ground DE?

He'll be a DE for them, the big question is who plays the Mike spot. He runs a Tampa 2 and you need a speedy and quick MLB that can play zone and cover to play it properly.
