Why the hell did the other thread get locked? I would have no idea about Ross' arrival if it wasn't for that post. Some of us access this site of their phones and shouldn't have to fiddle through 44 fuging pages with their thumbs. Not cool mods. You could have picked a better thread to lock.

The Panthers GM thread is actually only 11 pages long. This thread is for news from around the league. That's why it's so long.

When I want to catch up on a thread, I generally just go to the last page. If I need to, I'll work backwards, but usually just reading the last page is enough to get the latest.

I have no issue with people starting new threads for updates, mind you, but I'm not a mod.

I'm on this site 100% from my iPhone and whenever I click this thread and all the others I always end up on the most recent post of the thread (but navigating through all the previous is an entirely different story, hopefully Zod improves the mobile version of the site soon)

Oh I agree man. Problem is, I haven't been looking at this thread and I can only imagine what's been said in 44 pages. Now a few days later, we actually have something happening.

You are the only reason I finally made the jump! Dpantherman is an ok poster, but he's always so angry. I think he needs a girlfriend. I haven't told you yet, but thanks for all the work again.

DP's a good kid from what I know (I refer to him as my adopted son sometimes :lol: ). I think what ticks him off is some of the silliness that goes on here. Plus he's a student, so I imagine he's busy.

Admittedly, I shake my head at some of the stuff that gets posted here too, but as I've gotten older I've gotten at least somewhat better at not letting it annoy me that much. It is, after all, still just talking about football.

I admit I'm currently a tad grouchy due to the realization that some of our paid sports journalist types seem to only now be catching up on stuff we've known here for quite a while (specifically the Rivera-McDermott-Ross connection from their days in Philly).

Assistant coach firings have started up in a couple of places (not here, yet).

Being reported that the Jets have fired QB Coach Matt Cavanaugh. Cavanaugh's actually been regarded as a pretty good QB coach for several years, up until he coached Mark Sanchez that is.

Also word that the Cowboys have fired RB Coach Skip Peete (yes, he's Rodney's brother). But I'm sure in no way is he being scapegoated :unsure:

Heck, kids as young as ten have TVs and computers in their rooms these days. I think that particular punishment probably ceased being effective a long time ago.

Speculation that new Bills coach Doug Marrone will try to steal OC Pete Carmichael from the Saints, DC Mike Pettine from the Jets,

Could make the Bills a very, very serious team. They will, however, need an incredibly accurate QB to fit that offense (much like Brees)

They also let slip earlier that they're very interested in Syracuse QB Ryan Nassib.
