Are we the only team showing any interest in Gettleman? If so, is that not a red flag?

I mean, both guys who are in the lead for our GM spot aren't being pursued by any others teams.

Ross is being pursued by multiple teams.

As far as Gettleman, not that surprising when you consider that he's not a "self-promoter".

He may not be the best option either. Doesn't it make you wonder when a guy that has been in the league as long as he has haven't been a GM. He was a candidate for Chiefs job before getting passed over by Scott Pioli. The same goes for the Browns job with Heckert. Doesn't that concern you just a little?

Honestly, no.

Name recognition goes a long way in the NFL, even if the reality is that it doesn't actually mean anything.
