NFL Coaching / GM News

I asked a lot of nfl guys on twitter about lake Dawson none of them seem to know all that much honestly. I know we should be patient but as a fan the wait is killing me, gahhhh

He intervieved with the rams last year and the bears had reportedly showed interest as well.

From the article linked above

"Dawson is in his fifth season with the Titans. He joined them in 2007 as director of pro scouting after working in the Seahawks’ front office.

Working alongside GM Mike Reinfeldt and Webster, Dawson manages and oversees day-to-day football operation duties for the pro personnel department, including free agent signings and scouting. He scouts all levels of pro football, including the NFL, CFL and Arena league.

Webster is in his second season as vice president of player personnel. He spent the past four years with the Seahawks after 18 years with the Buccaneers."

Might have to strike Ross from our list depending on what happens tomorrow:

Hearing that Giants Dir of Scouting Marc Ross is not a viable option for GM of the Jets as he would want to build his coaching staff from scratch and not be "stuck" with Rex Ryan, even if it is only for one season.

If that's true I've got to think that JR has already communicated with Ross and asked him this exact question. With that in mind, the fact that we have an interview set up with him speaks volumes to Rivera's job security imo....

Not really. Jets have been telling GM candidates that they'll need to keep Rex and they interviewed Ross today...

But yeah, who knows.

In fairness, Rex Ryan is a whole other animal from most coaches.

For whatever you think of Rivera, he's not the mess that Ryan is.

Who's your source on that one, UNC?

Just edited in the source of the tweet, Ian Taubin. Founder of http://www.bigblueunited.com/ - not sure of his reliability.
