An indicator that Rivera might be safe

Mr. Scot

Recommended Posts

Carl Torbush recruited JP, clearly you don't know anything about the Tar Heels football program but you may not be a Heels fan so I can't blame you there.

However, being around the game daily being that it's my job makes me qualified. I don't tell you how to run your job, so don't try to tell me that I don't know more than you about my job.

this is the same thing as saying going to an aquarium store and walking around goldfish makes you a fish expert

Clearly, nobody knows what the fug you're talking about because this is what you do

1. Speak cryptically about your job

2. Jump into every thread spewing crap

3. inflate self-importance

4. talk convoluted nonsense

5. wait for somebody to respond to the retarded remarks you make

6. ???

7. profit.

cp8789 what does you knowing or working with peppers' recruiter (if you do) have to do with Rivera calling timeouts so that the opposing team's field goal unit can come out and make him lose by 3 points?

just how many anecdotes and bunny trails will you go down in a deceptive attempt to win a debate

First off, it is not even close to your example. Mainly because it's my job. Just like you have job, I have a job; and mine is with a college football team.

Secondly, you clearly can't read or choose not to comprehend. For the most part people that want Rivera back are pretty level headed (i.e.: myself, Mr.Scot). I continuously tell people why I want Rivera back and for the most part I get attacked personally. If you attack me personally I will make you look like a moron being that I have learned more about the game of football and the aspect of coaching than I ever imagined I would.

"I am satisfied with an improvement, which is what we got"

Sorry, guess I'm not as easily amused as you seem to be.

"People have gotten wrapped up in the first three-fourth's of the season."

Yeah, when it's a 16-game season and every game counts, it's hard to consider 12 of those games meaningless.

"I'm guessing you are on the Chip Kelly bandwagon."

Incorrect assumption. Sorry you spent an entire paragraph trying to convince either me or yourself why he's not a good choice when I've already considered my opinion on this subject.

Recruiters are also coaches at the college level (each positional coach is responsible for coaching), Carl Torbush was Mack Brown's DC/LB at UNC. I learn things from superior coaches just like you learn things from your boss. It's a simple concept.

Just because the Players didn't quit on Rivera and even if they back him up.

It doesn't mean that Rivera and his staff are the best choices to put Panther players in a position to win on Sundays.

As Cam watches RG3 kick the Cowbaoy's asses for a Playoff spot tonight.

What do you think he's pondering about our staff versus Shanahan's staff and their results?

Hopefully the new GM and ultimately the Players will see the difference.

Sorry, I guess I realize that franchise's aren't built overnight or even in two years. I'm guessing the company you work for didn't immediately experience success. People forget coaching is a job just like yours.

Also, you forgot to answer the question putting just as much fault on the players. When you can point to one particular play in each loss there is a problem with the players executing not the coaches.

Clearly you aren't watching the game. The Redskins can thank Morris if they win.

Ron says we didn't execute, Ron has never said the players didn't execute. "We" implies a team, coaches included.

C'mon man, that is a huge stretch. Many coaches have come straight out after losses and taken blame for their failings. We sat there and watched those ridiculous game plans for the first 6 to 8 weeks of the year, and all I heard was "we didn't make plays when we had opportunities" or "we didn't execute". Well guess what, you have to put players in positions to make plays and execute.

I don't care if you want Ron to stay or go, but don't act like he has manned up in public to any extent for the team's failings this year. He may have done it with the team behind closed doors, but in public, it's been all on the players.

Still not good in relation to this team....6th round rookie playing better than all of our billion dollar back field combined.

Shitty drafting by a shitty GM led by yes man lover JR...plus contracts that would make MLB go wuhhh?

You make a statement like this and start name dropping... sorry, the BS meter is pegged and you have zero credibility in my world.
