I don't think this game will make a difference in Rivera's job status.

I'm hoping he's fired and common sense would say he is with a new GM coming in and likely wanting his own guy. But, for some reason, I feel like he's going to get another chance and do more of the same.

I think he is let go this week. I think JR finally gets it right and give the GM a clean slate and a opportunity to get his own guy. The truth that matters is we have been bad the last couple of years under Rivera. He didn't turn the intensity up in till Marty was fired. JR said what got Fox fired was because he didn't have back to back winning seasons. I think that is going to get Rivera fired and it will just be better to start over with someone else. It just makes better sense.
