Game 30: Charlotte Bobcats (7-22) vs. New Orleans Hornets (6-23)

Can't finish a game. We should have at least two wins by now (Lakers, Hiornets) but we can't finish the deal.

Don't forget that home game against Portland (featuring the Mullens dunk). We blew an 18 point lead in that one too.

This team is getting worse with each loss, and something has to change. This type of performance cannot be acceptable to MJ, Higgins, or any other execs.

I just dont get how MJ thinks that he can keep feeding the fans the same steaming bowl of poo all season after last years debacle... I'm not knocking the players but there is obviously a big problem somewhere but the front office needs to find it and find it fast. IMO - Dunlap is not the guy and needs to go, this franchise needs a proven head coach that the fans and players believe in. We have been competitive in a lot of the losses but cant seem to close. Is it poor coaching, poor conditioning, what?

Why does MJ refuse to hire a proven HC before he completely loses the fanbase for good? Hell, he already offered a buy this season, get next season free promo to get the attendance he has now! He cant afford another season like last year. Wake the F-UP MJ!!!

What proven head coach would want to coach this team anyway? Especially when you know that the front office (Rich Cho) wants high draft picks. It's not an ideal situation for a proven coach. Dunlap was hired to coach up the young players. I think he's done a good job of that. I don't see Dunlap as a long-term solution at this point. Just a stopgap until this team has the talent to compete for something.

Well, fug it... You are right, we fans should just accept whatever the front office puts on the floor, buy tix season after season, sit there and STFU... Sorry bro, but im frustrated as hell! Its a cruel joke to live in city blessed with 2 pro franchises and they both suck yearly to the point of personal embarrassment! Feels like ground hog day over and over and over again...

Did I say you shouldn't be frustrated? I'm certainly frustrated. However I understand what the Bobcats are trying to do. And despite this 18-game skid I feel that this franchise is heading in the right direction for the first time in its existence.

Do you want to overpay some free agents, trade for some vets, and make a run for the 8th seed every year? Or actually build a team that has a hope of winning a playoff series a few years down the road?

Because that is quite literally the choice you have to make as a small market NBA team.
