IMO look for either Ross or Gentleman for the job.

I believe Ron has earned another year after the 2-8 start, and the turn around we have seen in the last 6 weeks.

i don't think the Saints game will make a difference if Ron stays or not, but it would make it tougher choice for him to go if we win tomorrow.

Jacksonville will fire GM Gene Smith, per sources. Two GM candidates in Jacksonville will be Cardinals' Jason Licht and 49ers' Tom Gamble

I have to think that they knew where they were going when Marty was fired. The season was done, so why fire the coach then? Firing Marty was bit impulsive on the surface, but maybe not. Perhaps JR wanted to put scouting as well as players on notice. Still, I do not think you fire the GM in mid season unless an overhaul was in mind.
