It was a good game by Cam. He is on a great run right now...I'd almost hesitate to change anything they are doing with Cam right now... but will it carry over into next season?

I love those Mic'ed up clips and I would think Cam's would be great. But he comes off a being arrogant in this one. He needs to tone it down. Also, if he was mic'ed up and they didn't even let us hear what he actually said to the ref, then why have him mic'ed up at all? If I'm the coach, I take the bump on the ref incident as a sign that Cam is not completely mature as a person. Cam can be pushed to implode when things don't go his way. We talk about "the heat of the moment." If he's playing well and winning, it can be overlooked (like I think this incident will be...overlooked), but I think this is the same kind of immaturity that kept his team from winning some games this year.

Can Rivera be the kind of coach Cam needs in order to mature and progress past this phase of his career? The third year will tell us a lot about whether we ultimately have a Brett Favre or a Tim Couch on our hands. Either way, I am still concerned that he won't stay after his contract is up. Unless we start winning.

Steve Smith is the greatest Panther of all time, and in 2 years, Cam has only 9 less total TDs than he does as a Panther in 12 years. Some on this board continue to undervalue just how great our QB has been for us. The overconcern on this board with Cam's "maturity" is disturbing as well.
