he has not earned the right to return next year in my eyes...winning some meaningless games against scrub teams means nothing to me...he flat out hasn't gotten the job done as a head coach IMO

Another reservation I have is who would we replace him with. So so many "up and coming hot coordinators" fall flat as HCs, do we bring in a former HC? a college HC? Another hot coordinator?

I just want Cam to progress. Work on his footwork and continue to show his potential. That's all I want. If a new coach can come in and do better that will be fine. If not, I hope Rivera stays.

Still need to see what happens in the Saints game. But if last week was the last game of the year, I'd have to say bring him in at least one more year to keep the continuity. The players love to play for him and he's on a roll right now.

If he blows it against the Saints in the same fashion as most of our other losses this year or worse, then I don't see JR retaining him. 6-10 is purgatory for Rivera.

I personally believe that with a young team , QB and coach it will take longer than 2 years. What the last few games has shown us is that the team has bought into what the coaches are selling and are getting it. We have been able to finish games. And even the backups are playing great.So that is why I voted other.

If we win the Saints game he should stay. Top 10 defense, don't want to ruin that with a new system. We would be a playoff team had we ran an NFL base offense. Rivera knows this and won't make the mistake again, one more year, playoffs or unemployment line.
